Vodafone have secured an agreement with apple to range the iPhone, this comes just hours after rival Orange announced it would become the first network to grab the iPhone from 02.
Opening up the phone to numerous networks will undoubtedly result in a battle to provide the cheapest mobile phone services and this is good news. Research in other countries has shown that in every country where there is more than one operator selling the iPhone, it has become cheaper to own. Obviously, this will provide better deals for customers in the long run. There are also murmuring that Virgin Mobile are also looking a securuing a deal to stock the iPhone.
