Hello all.

I recently purchased two of these Matte screen protectors from PhoneDevil and thought I would share my experience of the product and company.

The delivery was quick, with the parcel aptly packaged. There were a couple of sweets in my parcel as well which was a nice touch.

As for the product.

Installation, as for pretty much every screen protector, can be tricky. You MUST make sure the screen is pristine and dust-free before applying the protector. The product comes with a small cloth exactly for this use.

The protector is perfect in terms of size for the Iphone 3g/3gs, and fits the screen exactly. Another nice thing is that when lifting and re-applying the protector (sometimes this has to be done if you didn't get the first application right) it doesn't crease and bend like other ones tend to. Of course once it's creased it's pretty useless so this is a nice feature of it.

I myself didn't get application 100% perfect, there were a couple of small bubbles where dust had got on the protector. I didn't bother to correct this as once the screen is lit up you cannot see these....however, if you have regular air bubbles after applying yours, a small plastic card is also supplied to help remove these.

The finish is as you would expect from the matte edition and provides a nice non-glare t effect to the screen.

The feel of the screen is also improved and the scrolls, flicks and presses you associate with touchscreen devices become easier to do and generally feel nicer with this protector applied.

Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this product, it does what it's supposed to and does it well.

I bought this Zagg screen protector after seeing some rave reviews and videos on youtube on how great it is, and installed the front screen protector only as I was put off by the fiddliness of installing the back shield.

I am slightly disappointed with the results as the screen is not as easy to glide and swipe as it did before with a naked screen. I also found that the invisible shield is a magnet to lint and dust which is pretty annoying, added to a tiny speck on dust stuck between the shield and the screen which is unsightly at times. I would think twice before buying this.

I decided to go with the PhoneDevil Magic Screen Clear Invisible protector based on the overwhelming positive reviews it received. I should also mention this review relates only to the Clear Invisible edition as PhoneDevil also do the Anti-Glare and a newer Privacy screen. The decision to choose the Clear Invisible edition was only because I had not used PhoneDevil before and the obvious, safe choice was the standard clear screen. I can confidently now say I am thoroughly convinced of the quality and would be willing to try the anti glare if the need arises.

I ordered this on Sunday night and PhoneDevil dispatched it immediately, arriving at my place on Tuesday morning – fantastic delivery times without any postage costs either! Upon opening the package I discovered 1xPhoneDevil Screen Protector + 2xHaribo lollies (an unusual but delightful surprise). I read the brief, easy instructions & began the delicate task of applying the screen. The pack included a good quality, soft, lint-free cloth which I used to remove all dirt and marks on the iphone screen. The actual PhoneDevil creen protector was sandwiched between 2 outer protective layers that were removed and discarded in the process. A good tip I found was to borrow clean tweezers (my wife’s in this case) to assist in positioning the screen, ensuring that my grubby fingers did not touch any part of the screen. It takes a bit of practice to align the screen perfectly with the iphone but once you’ve got it right, the rest is easy. I encountered 2 small bubbles which were easily removed by pushing firmly using the included card. Total time spent: 4min

Its been a week and the screen is fantastic. Unless I look carefully I can’t even tell its on. No bubbles and importantly there has been no issues with the sensitivity of the iphone interface. A truly great product.

For the first month of having them i absolutely loved these headphones. This was mainly because they were everything i wanted them to be. They were loud, colourful, stood out from the crowd, provided a brilliant bass and generally good music quality.

So at the end of this month i was totally in love with them. Then they BROKE! For no apparent reason music only came out of the right ear. When buying them i saw other reviews saying this but i took a chance.

So to sum up if you want a pair of brilliant headphones that will last not much more than 6 months choose these, if not buy a different pair.

Ensuring your privacy on iPhone

First screen arrived very quickly and was very well packaged. Unfortunately, it was very 'grainy' and 'liney' and really no good. Seller responded superbly to this issue and I had a replacement within a couple of days which works very well. The customer service that Callum (the owner of PhoneDevil) exhibits is beyond compare - truly exceptional.

Privacy aspect is very good - really stops 'over the shoulder' observation which is exactly why you want a screen like this. The Matte finish does take a bit of adjusting too in terms of 'feel' when using, but once used to it the advantages in terms of minimising fingerprints and the like are very clear. Do be aware of this though - if you want to maintain that glossy finish, this isn't for you!

Only downside is that it can make sharing the iPhone experience difficult with people that you WANT to be able to see things on the screen but that's the price you have to pay for ensuring privacy at all times.

Good, solid product that does what it says on the tin backed up by really exceptional service from Callum and his team.

nice to have a mirror, but not perfect fit on iphone

It was easy to put on, and I have left it on for the time being till I get a replacement.

The screen cover did not have holes for the loudspeaker, so before punching them in myself.. i couldnt hear anyone who called. The screen saver was a bit too small for an iphone. Both reasons made me think that maybe it is produced for an ipod touch.

Finally the glare does distract some applications when it is sunny, however I didn’t mind that since the mirror is great and I think it is a handy thing to have!
