Bought this for use in a 2008 Smart ForTwo, after finding the Belkin equivalent to be too short for the lighter socket. No such problem with the Kensington product; work’s very nicely!

I have a Volvo V50 and the socket is on the centre console next to the handbrake, thus requiring a low profile charger in order not to get in the way of gear lever. The Kensington charger is very small and unobtrusive and charges iPhone and iPod with no issues.
Would highly recommend.
