The Otterbox commuter oozes quality, it fits perfectly, looks sleek, yet it gives your iphone total protection.
I had previously the Otter box impact, which was a tad chunky and got stuck in the pocket due to it’s rubbery nature, it did the job, but it got a bit stretched and flabby round the edges, the commuter however gets round that by having the hard outer shell which keeps everything where it should be, with little chance of dirt and particles getting down the edges to scratch the back.
Another reason to buy the commuter, the plugs for headphone and charger/usb port again keeping delicate connectors free of dust, dirt and debris.

Elegent physical iPhone protection

If you accept your iPhone won’t like being dropped even if it visibly doesn’t break how do you protect it? Firstly will you be in average environments i.e. home office etc or harsher environments i.e. building sites, workshops or both? This is the beauty of this product it doesn’t look out of place in the office or at home but will provide a combination of soft rubber and plastic hard case protection for your phone for those times when you leave it on a work bench or it slips out of your hand on to a hard floor. It’s a very good compromise between looks, protection and practicality in that there is enough exposed rubber to grip surfaces like the inside your pocket, rather than the all plastic cases that can slip out of pockets all too easily. Your phone sits in a rubber sheath that allows access to all controls easily while a hard case clips around most of the rubber. I have used it for two months and it is the best case for an iproduct I have used given I have dropped it twice with no fault found on my phone

Easy to install, makes me feel the phone isn’t going to get trashed when I accidentally drop it, or get caught in the rain. It is not waterproof, but it does add another layer for the rain to get through. Also, the moulded back is easier to hold on to than the slidey original back.. recommended.
Excellent Product with Prompt Delivery

I have been using this product for a couple of months now and so far it’s been great. The cover fully protects my IPhone and has a real solid feel without making the phone feel bulky. The only problem I had was with the screen protector which came with it, it was a nightmare to fit and in the end I ended up throwing it away and buying a more expensive one. I still give this product 5 stars though as you are really buying the case. Other than this small problem I cannot fault this product and I highly recommend it.

Bought this recently and fitted very quickly. As usual the screen protector was too complicated for me, got dust under it so I took it off, waiting for another now! The case is an excellent fit and forget type, so don’t expect to remove it often. The design makes your iphone feel nice and sturdy in the hand, but quite large in a pocket. The controls all work brilliantly, i.e. volume controls, charger socket (hidden under cover on bottom) and on switch.
So if you ever worry you’ll drop your iphone, consider this case, it looks and feels cool. Don’t buy if you wish to take it out of the case and admire its iphoneness. I just like the feel, look and quality of it. Excellent!

Gives your phone solid protection without making it feel bulky or heavy. Looks pretty good as well. I bought my own 6pk of screen protectors from Amazon. Recommended if you are overwhelmed by all the iphone case choices!

After 3 months of use this case has done a generally good job of protecting my 3Gs – the slightly raised rim around the screen edge has helped avoid damaging it when dropped/knocked to floor on a couple of occasions. One problem is that the 2 layer case design seems optimised for trapping moisture: I answered a call during a light rain shower and even after immediately wiping the phone dry, the next day I had repeated ‘This accessory is not made to work with iPhone’ error messages as a result of moisture trapped around the dock connector causing random shorts on the pins: compressed air cleared the moisture but if you get your phone even slightly damp I’d suggest removing and drying the case ASAP.

It’s really easy to fit. Gives great all round protection without compromising the overall size of the iPhone. The sides don’t flap around like some other makes. It’s so good you’d be tempted to bounce it just to test how good it is…but don’t.
